A. 
The speed limit for the entire length of Burton Avenue between Tilton Road and Mill Road shall be 25 miles per hour.
B. 
Any person violating this section shall be subject to fines and penalties as set forth in Title 39 of the New Jersey Statutes.

A. 
The speed limits for both directions of traffic along Mill Road (CR 563/662) in the City of Northfield and the Township of Egg Harbor are established as follows:
(1) 
Zone 1: 45 miles per hour between Ocean Heights Avenue (CR 559A) and 340 feet west of Mazza Drive.
(2) 
Zone 2: 35 miles per hour between 340 feet west of Mazza Drive and Burton Avenue.
(3) 
Zone 3: 30 miles per hour between Burton Avenue and Shore Road (CR 585), except for 25 miles per hour when passing through the Mill Road School Zone during recess and when the presence of children is clearly visible from the roadway or while children are going to or leaving school, during opening or closing hours.
(4) 
Zone 4: 35 miles per hour between Shore Road (CR 585) and the easterly intersection with Oxford Circle.
(5) 
Zone 5: 40 miles per hour between the easterly intersection with Oxford Circle and 400 feet east of Bay Drive.
(6) 
Zone 6: 45 miles per hour between 400 feet east of Bay Drive and the Margate toll bridge.
B. 
Regulatory and warning signs shall be erected and maintained to effect the above-designated speed limits.
C. 
All previous ordinances and resolutions, or parts of ordinances and resolutions, inconsistent with the terms and provisions of this section are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistencies.
D. 
The penalty for violation of any provision of this section shall be that specified in N.J.S.A. 39:4-104 and any amendments thereto.
