No person shall construct, erect or maintain or cause to be constructed, erected or maintained along the boundaries of public streets or grounds within the Village of Menands any fence constructed wholly or in part of barbed wire or any similar fence, and any person maintaining such a fence shall, upon notification by the Board of Trustees, cause the same to be removed.
No person shall construct or erect or cause to be constructed or erected in the Village any board fence in excess of six feet in height.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be liable to pay the Village the sum of $10 for each offense and shall be further liable to a fine of $5 for each day the fence is allowed to remain after due notification to remove the same.
