GENERAL REFERENCES
Fire prevention and building construction — See Ch. 90.

No building, shed, shop or other structure of any kind, the outside walls, party walls or exterior lateral walls of which shall be composed in whole or in part of wood (except as otherwise provided by the laws of the state in relation to the erection of wooden buildings in the Village of Menands) and excepting frame dwellings, shall hereafter be erected in any part of the Village of Menands included in the following limits, namely:
A. 
Beginning at a point in the southerly boundary of the Village 150 feet west from the western side of Broadway, thence northerly and parallel to Broadway to the north boundary of said Village, thence easterly crossing Broadway to a point 150 feet easterly from the eastern side of Broadway, thence southerly and parallel to Broadway to a point on the southern boundary of the Village 150 feet east of the eastern side of Broadway, thence westerly along the southern boundary of the Village to the place of beginning.

No building, shed, shop or other structure of any kind, the outside walls, party walls or exterior lateral walls of which shall be composed in whole or in part of wood (except as otherwise provided by the laws of the state in relation to the erection of wooden buildings in the Village of Menands) and excepting frame dwellings, shall hereafter be erected upon the lands adjacent to either side of any or either of the roads or highways constituting the approaches of or to the Troy-Menands Bridge crossing the Hudson River nor within 150 feet of the line and/or lines of any or either of such roads or highways constituting the approaches to said Troy-Menands Bridge in the Village of Menands, New York.
Any person violating any provision of this chapter may, upon conviction thereof, be liable to a penalty not exceeding the sum of $100 and, in addition thereto, said violation shall constitute disorderly conduct and the person violating the same shall be a disorderly person.
