[Adopted 4-13-1926 as Secs. 1 and 2 of Art 16 of the General
Ordinances]
No person, copartnership or corporation shall
open or lay out a public street, road, avenue, lane or highway within
the corporate limits of the Village of Menands unless a map or plan
thereof has first been filed with the Board of Trustees and the plan
thereof approved by said Board, and said street, road, avenue, lane
or highway has been duly dedicated to and accepted by the Village
as a public street.

Any person, copartnership or corporation who
or which shall violate the provisions of this article shall be liable
to a penalty not to exceed the sum of $100 for each and every violation,
and each day on which said violation is continued shall constitute
a separate offense and a violation, and in addition thereto, said
violation shall constitute disorderly conduct and the person violating
the same shall be a disorderly person.
