It shall be unlawful and a violation of this article for an owner or operator of any vehicle to park or permit his vehicle to be parked or to abandon his vehicle as hereinafter prohibited on the south side of Simmons Lane from Broadway east to the railroad tracks.
Any person violating any provisions of § 160-61 of this article shall be guilty of an offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine of $10 or by imprisonment for not more than 10 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Any vehicle parked, abandoned or left unattended in violation of § 160-61 of this article may be removed and stored at the expense of the owner by or at the direction of a patrolman, pursuant to the provisions of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.[1]
