The authority of parking enforcement officers to issue tickets and/or citations for any violation of Chapter 248, Vehicles and Traffic, of the Code of the Borough of Mount Oliver and/or the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code[1] is hereby affirmed and authorized.

Such parking enforcement officers may ticket and/or issue a citation on account of any vehicle being in violation of any applicable ordinance, law or regulation within the Borough of Mount Oliver or the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code and, if necessary, may assist in the prosecution of same before the District Justice.
Parking enforcement officers employed by the Borough of Mount Oliver shall be and are hereby designated as "law enforcement officers," as such term is defined in Rule 3 of the Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure.

The authority of the members of the Police Department, the Building Inspector, the Ordinance Officer, the Code Enforcement Officer, Street Commissioner, Fire Marshal and their duly appointed assistants to issue citations and/or tickets for violation cf any provisions of the Code of the Borough of Mount Oliver is hereby authorized and affirmed.
Any of the officials designated in § 7-4 may ticket and/or issue a nuisance citation and/or ticket for any violation of any ordinance, law or regulation within the Borough of Mount Oliver; and, if necessary, may assist in the prosecution of same before the District Justice.
A. 
There shall be, and there is hereby imposed, a fine of $50 for the violation of any nuisance ordinance, law, or regulation of the Borough of Mount Oliver for up to 72 hours. If compliance is made within 72 hours, then the $50 fine will be waived. After 12 hours, such uncorrected violation shall be subject to the penalty provisions of the respective provisions of the Code.
B. 
For purposes of this section, each day that a violation is continued shall constitute a separate offense.
C. 
Service of citation or tickets under this article will be effective when posted conspicuously on the subject property or by personal service by an adult.
