Police Pension Fund — See Ch. 25, Art. I.
The Police Department is hereby reestablished in and for the Borough of Mount Oliver. The Chief of Police shall be the chief executive of the Police Department. He shall, under the direction of the Mayor, be in charge of the police force and have supervision over its members in the exercise of their powers, duties and authority.

Subordinate to the Chief of Police in the Police Department, the following classifications/ranks are hereby established: Sergeant, Corporal, patrolman. The priority of authority between such classifications shall be in the order above-listed. The number of persons to serve in each of such classifications on a full-time or a part-time basis, and the compensation of each, shall be as determined by the Borough Council from time to time.
