The position of Chief Financial Officer is hereby
created pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.1.

The qualifications for the Chief Financial Officer
shall be as set forth within N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.1 et seq.
The compensation of the Chief Financial Officer
shall be as fixed by the governing body in the Annual Salary Ordinance
of the City of Northfield, which Salary Ordinance shall be maintained
on file in the office of the Municipal Clerk.
The term of Chief Financial Officer shall be
for one year commencing January 1, subject, however, to the tenure
provisions contained within N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.13.
