Fire prevention — See Ch. 152.
The City Clerk of the City of Cohoes is hereby authorized and empowered
to issue permits for the public display of fireworks within the City of Cohoes,
all in accordance with Article 405 of the Penal Law of the State of New York.
Prior to the issuance or denial of a permit for the public display of
fireworks as aforesaid, the City Clerk of the City of Cohoes shall obtain
the recommendation of the City Engineer and Fire Chief or his duly authorized
and appointed agents or assistants concerning the applicant's proposed
compliance with the requirements of § 405.00 of the Penal Law of
the State of New York.
