As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
PREPARED FOODSTUFFS
Includes bread, pies, cakes and other bakery products; confectionery, shelled nuts, cheese, dried fruits such as apricots, dates, figs, peaches, and the like; cereal products such as tapioca, breakfast foods, and the like; pickled products such as dried, salted or smoked fish, pickled pigs feet, cauliflower, pickles, and the like; prepared meats such as cooked beef, pork, veal, boiled ham, chipped beef, and the like; or other foods prepared for eating and subject to attacks of worms or insects.
All prepared foodstuffs shall be protected from contamination by insects, vermin, dust, dirt and other foreign and injurious contamination during the process of production, manufacture, preparation, packing, storage and sale.
All prepared foodstuffs shall be protected from contamination by insects, vermin, dust, dirt and all other foreign and injurious contamination by tightly covered, flyproof and dustproof containers, packages or wrappers during transportation.
Deliveries of prepared foodstuffs to food establishments or premises shall be made inside of the food establishments or premises. No deliveries shall be made on the sidewalk or doorway of the food establishment or premises, whether pending the opening of the premises or otherwise.

Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $500 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
