A. 
No person shall fire or discharge any gun, pistol or firearm of any description, except in the protection of life or property as may be allowed by law, within the Borough limits, except as may be authorized by the Council of the Borough of Mountain Lakes for control of deer and other animals within the Borough. No person shall carry or transport any rifle or shotgun of any description or caliber unless it is completely enclosed in a carrying case, except as may be authorized by the Council of the Borough of Mountain Lakes for the control of deer and other animals within the Borough or otherwise as allowed by law.

B. 
No person shall set off firecrackers, throw fire balls made of combustible materials, or fire or discharge any gun, pistol, or any kind of firearms or cannon within the Borough limits.
The storage, handling, discharge and transportation of explosives shall conform to the legal requirements of the State of New Jersey with respect thereto.
