Traffic control signals shall be installed and operated at the intersection of those streets described in Schedule XX (§ 278-51), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The traffic signal installation shall be in
accordance with the provisions of an Act Concerning Motor Vehicles
and Traffic Regulations, Subtitle 1 of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes
of New Jersey, shall conform to the design and shall be maintained
in operation as authorized by the Department of Transportation of
the State of New Jersey.
