The purpose of this chapter is to authorized public servants of the
Town of Clarkson to issue and serve appearance tickets in connection with
violations of state statutes, local laws, ordinance or rules and regulations
of the town which the public servants are authorized or required to enforce.
The following public servants of the Town of Clarkson are hereby authorized
to issue and serve appearance tickets with respect to violations of state
statute, local laws, ordinances, rules or regulations of the Town of Clarkson
that such public servants are, respectively, required or authorized to enforce:
A.
The Building Inspector, Deputy Building Inspector, Code
Enforcement Officer and Constable are authorized to issue appearance tickets
with respect to building, zoning, planning, fire prevention and safety, the
New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and licensing of
occupations or businesses; New York State Energy Code, Planning Code and all
interrelated ordinances, laws, statutes, rules and regulations relating to
the same.

B.
The Highway Superintendent is authorized to issue appearance
tickets with respect to violation of the New York State Highway Law.
An appearance ticket other than for a parking violation shall be served
personally.
