No person shall carry on the business of bowling alley keeper, which shall be construed to cover the keeping of any bowling alley for revenue, without having procured a license from the Chief of Police.
Licenses shall expire December 31 after date of issuance.

The annual license fee shall be $10 each for the first two bowling alleys and $7 for each alley more than two. There shall be a fee of $10 for replacement of a lost license. Notwithstanding the preceding provisions of this § 37-3 of the Municipal Code, there shall be no annual fee required for the licensing of bowling alleys for the 2021 licensing year commencing January 1, 2021, and ending December 31, 2021.
Bowling alley keepers shall maintain their premises in an orderly manner.
The provisions of Chapter 68 of the Municipal Code, being general licensing provisions relating to business and trades, shall be applicable to all licenses under this chapter the same as if specifically set forth herein, and any violation of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in § 68-15 of said Code.
