The Board of Parks and Recreation is hereby authorized to adopt rules and regulations governing the use of Town parks and recreational facilities. No such rule or regulation shall be effective until after a public hearing by the Board.
The rules and regulations shall provide for the reasonable use of parks and recreational facilities within the Town at such time and place as will provide maximum use by the public without interference with the public peace and safety and with benefit to the greatest number.
The rules and regulations concerning the use of public parks, greens and playgrounds shall be posted in conspicuous public places and shall be effective upon filing with the Town Clerk.
The use of public parks, greens and playgrounds except in accordance with the rules and regulations adopted from time to time by the Board of Parks and Recreation shall be unlawful.
Any person violating any rule or regulation of the Board of Parks and Recreation shall be punished as for a violation of this Code.[1]
