No person or business entity shall discharge or cause to be discharged,
ignited, fired, or otherwise set into action within any public or private
building within the Town of Dewey Beach any pyrotechnic device or display,
firework, firecracker, sparkler, Roman Candle, or any other substance of any
combination whatsoever designed or intended for the purpose of producing a
visible or audible effect by combustion, explosion, discharge, ignition or
deflagration. Any of the abovementioned materials determined to be illegally
in the possession of a person or business entity shall be confiscated by the
Dewey Beach Police Department or the Delaware State Fire Marshall.
Violation of this chapter is a Class A Misdemeanor.
