This chapter is authorized by § C-4B
of the Town Charter.
A.
It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt game within
the corporate limits of the town.
B.
It shall be unlawful for any person, except persons
engaged in lawful defense of self, others or property, other than
a law enforcement officer acting in the line of duty, to discharge
any firearms within the corporate limits of the town. For the purpose
of this chapter, a "firearm" is defined as a weapon from which shot
or a bullet is discharged.

Any person violating the provisions of this
chapter shall be subject to a civil penalty of not less than $25,
nor more than $100, plus court costs. Each discharge shall be considered
as a separate offense.
