As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
Old or used, dismantled or partially dismantled automobiles or parts
of automobiles; scrap iron, borings, old iron, old brass, old copper, old
tin, old lead or other old metal; old or used glass or glassware; used or
secondhand building materials, rags, old rubber or old rubber tires; and any
other junk of similar character.
Any premises set aside for the purpose of storing, purchasing, selling,
repairing, dismantling, or refacing junk.
A place where automobiles or other motor vehicles are kept and dismantled
for the purpose of selling or offering for sale or storing in parts or as
junk, metal or material.
No person shall maintain or operate a motor vehicle junkyard, a junk
shop, or junkyard within the borough.
