No person, association, firm or corporation shall conduct any street parade, street meeting or public gathering of any nature upon any street or public ground in the Township of Allegheny without first having obtained a permit from the Township Manager. Such permit shall be issued without payment of any fee. The application for such permit shall be made to the Township Manager, in writing, at least five days in advance of the date of such parade, street meeting or other gathering.
Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $50 and costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment for not more than 10 days.
