Notwithstanding any other license issued to
vend or peddle, no person shall vend or peddle food or property of
any kind, except balloons or flowers within the jurisdiction of the
Trenton Commons Pedestrian Mall Advisory Commission and with appropriate
permission issued for such purposes, by means of a pushcart, trailer,
tray, valise, table or mobile unit of any kind, other than a self-propelled
motor vehicle, or by displaying or showing such merchandise manually
or by attaching it to a garment, without a license issued specifically
therefor as a nonmotorized peddler license.
All licenses for nonmotorized peddlers shall
be for a specific period of time not to exceed the duration of the
public event for which it was issued and shall permit such vending
only within a specified area in connection with special public or
quasi-public events.
The license fee for each nonmotorized peddler
shall be $20 per event. Such fee shall not include any additional
fees for health inspection permits where applicable.
