This Committee shall be known as the "Chili Parks and Recreation Committee."

The purpose of this Committee shall be to advise and recommend new recreation programs, park and recreation facility improvements, and policies, as well as review existing programs, parks, facilities and policies. The Committee shall also review the Parks and Recreation Master Plan annually.

This Committee shall be composed of a number of members who are residents of the Town of Chili, said number to be established by Town Board resolution.

The Committee will be composed of members appointed to terms of three years.
All members of the Committee will be appointed by a resolution of the Town Board of Chili.
Subsequent appointments will be made by a resolution at the annual organizational meeting of the Chili Town Board or at such other times as may be necessary to fill any vacancies that may occur at the expiration of the term of a member or by the resignation of a member. Such subsequent appointments to the Committee shall be for a three-year term.
A. 
The Director of the Chili recreation program and a member of the Chili Town Board to be appointed by the Supervisor shall serve as ex officio members of this Committee.
B. 
Ex officio members shall have no voting power.

The Town Board will annually appoint the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson to serve for a one-year term at the pleasure of the Town Board. The Committee will elect a Secretary from its membership.
The Committee will meet monthly or at such other times as it may deem necessary for the purpose of conducting its business.
A. 
The Committee members will be paid a nominal sum for each monthly meeting they attend, to be determined and set annually by a resolution of the Chili Town Board.
B. 
The Chairperson and Secretary will be paid an additional sum to compensate them for their respective duties to be determined by a resolution of the Chili Town Board.

All new recreation programs, park and facility improvements, and policies as well as modifications to existing programs, park and recreation facility improvements, and policies suggested by the Parks and Recreation Committee shall be submitted to the Town Board.

All new recreation programs, park and facility improvements, and policies as well as modifications to existing programs, park and recreation facility improvements, and policies suggested by the Parks and Recreation Committee shall be adopted only upon the approval, by resolution, of the Chili Town Board and will be coordinated through the office of the Supervisor.
All recreational programs and policies will be implemented and administered through the Department of Recreation by the Director of Recreation.
A. 
All recreation personnel employed will be interviewed and recommended by the Director of Recreation and the Supervisor of the Town of Chili.
B. 
All personnel will only be employed after the acceptance of the recommendation by the Director of Recreation and the Supervisor of the Town of Chili by resolution of the Town Board.
