The location, construction, alteration and operation
of public swimming pools in the Township are regulated by the Swimming
Pool Code of New Jersey, N.J.A.C. 8:26-1 et seq., which code is hereby
adopted by reference in accordance with N.J.S.A. 26:3-69.1 to 26:3-69.6,
the State Uniform Construction Code, N.J.A.C. 5:23-1 et seq. and the
Township's land use regulation set forth in Chapter XV of the Code
of the Township of Ewing. Copies of the foregoing codes and chapter
are on file in the office of the Secretary of the Board of Health
and the Municipal Clerk for the use and examination of the public.
As set forth in Chapter 193 of the Code of the
Township of Ewing, no person shall locate, construct, alter or operate
a public swimming pool without obtaining a license therefor. Licensing
procedures are set forth in § 193-2 of the Township Code.
