The purpose of this article is to promote the full use and enjoyment
of the waters of Bass Lake and to promote the safety of persons and property
in connection with the use thereof.
Waterskiing shall be allowed on Bass Lake within the territorial limits
of the Town of St. Joseph from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daylight saving time
each day. It shall be unlawful for any person to water-ski on said Bass Lake
during any other time.
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a motor boat within 200
feet of the shoreline of said Bass Lake at a speed in excess of five miles
per hour.
Any person violating any provision of this article shall forfeit to
the Town of St. Joseph a sum of not less than $10 nor more than $100 for each
and every offense, together with the costs of the action, and in default of
immediate payment of said forfeiture and costs said offender shall be confined
in the county jail not exceeding 30 days or until such forfeiture and costs
have been paid in full.
