The General Finance Department shall have general
jurisdiction in respect to the financial affairs of the Township,
including budgeting, auditing and the management, custody and control
of the funds of the Township and the assessment and collection of
taxes.
The Department head shall be the Treasurer,
but his authority shall be subject to the authority of specified officials
in the performance of functions committed to them by law, as well
as to the authority of the heads of other departments. The term of
office of Treasurer shall be one year.
