On all streets of the Township which extend to or are continuations of streets of adjoining municipalities and are of like name, the numbering of houses, stores or other buildings shall be a consecutive continuation of the numbering established in the adjoining municipality on the thoroughfare of like name.
This chapter shall apply to all streets of the Township and to the owner or occupant of every house, store or other building whether constructed prior to or subsequent to June 1, 1918.

Should doubts arise as to the proper application of the provisions of this chapter or in cases where properties are of irregular shape or are located on curves or in other respects so located as to make the application of the provisions of this chapter uncertain, such doubts or uncertainties shall be referred to the Township Committee by application in writing, which Committee shall, after consideration, establish a number for the property concerned in the application. The determination of the Committee in such cases shall be reduced to writing by the Clerk and become a part of the records of the Township, and a copy of the Clerk's minutes shall be mailed to the applicant for his information.
