This chapter is adopted pursuant to the authority granted under the
General Municipal Law of the State of New York and shall be known as the "Games
of Chance Law of the Town of Wilson, New York."
The words and terms used in this chapter shall have the meanings such
words and terms have in Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law, unless provided
herein or unless the context requires a different meaning.
Games of chance may be conducted in the Town of Wilson by an authorized
organization, after obtaining a license therefor, in accordance with the provisions,
requirements and limitations of Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law,
the rules and regulations of New York State Racing and Wagering Board and
this chapter.
The chief law enforcement officer of the County of Niagara shall exercise
control over and supervision of all games of chance conducted under a valid
license. Such officer shall have all those powers and duties set forth in
Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law.
