§ 40-1 Authority established. [1]

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1 et seq., and any amendments thereof or supplements thereto, a body corporate and politic, to be known as the "Housing Authority of the City of East Orange," is hereby created.

§ 40-2 Powers generally.

The Housing Authority of the City is hereby authorized to exercise the powers granted to local housing authorities by any act of the Legislature of the State or any act of the Congress of the United States of America.

§ 40-3 Redevelopment projects. [1]

The Housing Authority of the City is hereby authorized to adopt, initiate and carry out any redevelopment project in accordance with the authority set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1 et seq., and any amendments thereof or supplements thereto.
