Editor's Note: By L.L. No. 3-1998, adopted 1-20-1998, the Rockland County office of the Rockland County Traffic Safety Board (a/k/a the Rockland County Highway Safety Committee) became a division of the Rockland County Sheriff's Department, effective 1-1-1998.
[Amended 1-15-1973 by Res. No. 39-1973]
There is hereby established a Traffic Safety Board of the County of Rockland, pursuant to Article 43 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York, to be composed of 20 members interested in traffic safety and traffic problems. Such members shall be appointed by the Board of Supervisors[1] as required by law.
