No person shall conduct any dance to which the public is admitted within the City unless, 48 hours or more prior to such dance, the City Police Department is notified in writing on the form prescribed by the City Administrator - Clerk/Treasurer. Such written notification shall include the name, address and phone number of the sponsoring organization; the name, address and phone number of the sponsor's contact person; the location of the proposed dance; the hours the dance shall take place; and the name, address, age and phone numbers of all those individuals acting as chaperons or providing security for the dance.
No person shall operate a roller rink within the City of Oconto Falls until the Common Council issues a license for the same.
All roller rink licenses shall be for a period of one year expiring annually on June 30. The fee established shall be as determined by the Common Council.
A. 
The applicant shall submit a license application on the form prescribed by the City Administrator - Clerk/Treasurer which shall contain:
(1) 
The address of the location proposed for licensing.
(2) 
The name, address and phone number of the owner(s) of the property.
(3) 
The name, address and phone number of all individuals having an interest in the proposed operation.
(4) 
The name, address and phone number of the applicant's manager and/or contact person.
B. 
All original and renewal applications shall be submitted to the City Administrator - Clerk/Treasurer a minimum of 30 days prior to review by the Common Council. The applicant shall not commence operations prior to issuance of a new license and will cease operations upon the expiration of the license.
C. 
Prior to review of the Common Council, the Police Department will conduct an investigation of those associated with the operation of the rink and recommend the issuance or denial of the license before the Common Council.
D. 
A license shall not be issued to a premises not complying with the City's zoning, health and safety, fire, and building codes. Prior to review of the Common Council, the City Administrator - Clerk/Treasurer, Building Inspector and Health Officer shall determine compliance with the same and recommend issuance or denial of the license before the Common Council.
The Chief of Police may suspend or revoke the license for any roller rink operation for cause.
