The Township Committee of the Township of Franklin wishes to create the position of Deputy Municipal Clerk with the following duties and responsibilities:
A. 
Provide assistance to the Municipal Clerk in performing the specialized duties of said position.
B. 
Assume said duties in the absence of the Municipal Clerk.
C. 
In case of absence or disability of Municipal Clerk, the Deputy Municipal Clerk shall have all the powers of the Municipal Clerk and shall perform the functions and duties of such office.
D. 
Any other duties assigned by the Municipal Clerk or delineated in the "Deputy Township Clerk" job description in the Township Job Description Book.[1]

The term of the Deputy Municipal Clerk shall be annual on January 1 and terminating on December 31.
The Township Committee of the Township of Franklin, in the County of Gloucester, hereby establishes the position of Deputy Municipal Clerk for the Township of Franklin.
