[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of Dover 7-26-1994 as Ord. No. 24-1994. Amendments noted where applicable.]
A public property maintenance bond in the amount of $1,000 shall be required to be deposited with the Municipal Clerk prior to obtaining approval to use municipal public property for outside public activities and events. Said bond is refundable within 72 hours after conclusion of said event after municipal inspection is made in order to ensure compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
If the applicant(s) fails to properly restore said property within 72 hours after the conclusion of said activity or event, municipal forces may then be deployed to effectuate said cleanup and removal. Any and all expenses associated with ensuring compliance with the provisions of this chapter will result in a forfeiture action against the posted bond.
This chapter is intended to cover all municipal-owned property except that which is under the control of the Dover Recreation Commission.
