There is hereby created the position of Town
Prosecutor for the Town of Dover.
The primary function of the Town Prosecutor
shall be to prosecute complaints in the Municipal Court of the Town
of Dover, brought by police officers, the health officer and housing
inspectors of the Town of Dover, and such other duties as shall be
assigned by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of Dover.
The person appointed to the position of Town
Prosecutor shall be admitted to practice before the New Jersey Supreme
Court.
The Town Prosecutor shall be appointed by the
Mayor and Board of Aldermen for a period of one year commencing January
1.
