This Part 1 shall be known by the short title
of "The Fire Prevention Ordinance of the Borough of Fort Lee" and
may be so cited.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions
of this Part 1 and the code adopted herewith, or as the same way hereafter
be amended or supplemented, or who shall violate or fail to comply
with any order made hereunder, or who shall build in violation of
detailed statement of specifications or plans submitted or approved
hereunder or any certificate or permit issued hereunder shall, upon
conviction of each and every such violation and noncompliance respectively,
be punished by a fine not exceeding $200 or by imprisonment not exceeding
90 days, or both. Each twenty-four-hour period of violation or noncompliance
shall constitute a separate defense.
