All amendments to this chapter shall be adopted
in accordance with the provisions of New Jersey law.
In the interpretation and the application of
the provisions of this chapter, they shall be held to be the minimum
requirements for the promotion of the health, safety, morals and general
welfare. It is not intended to interfere with or abrogate or annul
other rules, regulations or ordinances; provided, however, that where
this chapter imposes greater restrictions the provisions of this chapter
shall apply.
Immediately upon adoption of this chapter, the
Borough Clerk shall file a copy of this chapter with the County Planning
Board as required by law. The Clerk shall also file with said County
Planning Board copies of all other ordinances of the Borough of Fort
Lee relating to land use, such as the subdivision, zoning and site
plan review ordinances, and any amendments or supplements thereto.
