The following position is hereby established: Municipal Court Administrator.
The duties of the said position shall be to carry out the rules, regulations, policies and procedure relating to the operation of the Court; interview and speak to prospective complainants; receive complaints and dispense information relating to Court matters; maintain the financial records of the Court; obtain, record, store, distribute and supervise the use of equipment and supplies; prepare clear, sound, accurate and informative reports; attend Court, take minutes of the trials and enter them in the docket; prepare correspondence; prepare trial calendars, make out return cards and sign court documents; prepare and issue warrants and commitments; take and prepare bail bonds, making inquiry as to the sufficiency and equity; receive and account for fines and costs; interview persons coming to Court on informal police court matters to determine if there is a basis for formal action, and, if necessary, issue summons to require Court appearances in this regard; maintain and classify records and files.
The salary for the said office shall be as designated in the current Salary Ordinance.[1]
