Township of Kingwood, NJ Article V Deputy Zoning Officer [1]

§ 31-41 Creation of office.

There is hereby created the office of Deputy Zoning Officer of the Township of Kingwood, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

§ 31-42 Appointment; term of office.

The governing body of the Township of Kingwood may appoint the Deputy Zoning Officer, for a term of office not to exceed one year, to serve at the pleasure of the governing body.

§ 31-43 Powers and duties.

The Deputy Zoning Officer shall assist the Zoning Officer of Kingwood Township in his regular functions and shall perform such duties as directed by the Zoning Officer and the governing body of the Township of Kingwood or as otherwise provided by law. During the absence or disability of the Zoning Officer, the Deputy Zoning Officer shall have all the powers of the Zoning Officer and shall perform all the functions and duties of such office.

§ 31-44 Compensation.

The Deputy Zoning Officer shall be paid at an annual rate as set forth in the current Salary Ordinance of the Township of Kingwood.
