A. 
The pay of Township employees shall be on the basis of appropriate schedules of annual or hourly rates as prescribed by Annual Salary Ordinance.[1]

B. 
Positions having similar duties and responsibilities shall be classified and compensated for on a uniform basis.
C. 
The Mayor and Committeemen shall be paid quarterly. All wages for full-time and part-time employees and officials on a salary basis shall be payable every other week, that is every other Friday. All part-time employees on an hourly rate of pay and all overtime payment will be paid on the Friday following the regular payday.
D. 
Rates are based on normal working hours. Salaries of professional, supervisory and responsible administrative positions fixed according to annual rates and not based on a fixed number of hours of work per week shall not be adjusted with variations in work schedule.
E. 
The compensation plan with annual and/or hourly rates for all positions is adopted according to the Annual Salary Ordinance.
F. 
The rates of pay for different classes of positions which are prescribed in the Salary Ordinance shall be changed only by the governing body by amendment to the Salary Ordinance. Such changes, as required, will normally be made annually, to become effective on the first day of each fiscal year and shall be retroactive to that day.
G. 
As of July 1, 2014, all net wages paid to all employees, as set forth in Subsection C above, shall be directly deposited into a specific banking institution chosen by and based upon information provided by the employee. All information concerning the net pay, any accompanying information approved for distribution with net pay, and W-2 forms in accordance with applicable federal law, shall be available to each employee only on the Internet with restricted access. The provisions of this subsection shall not apply to seasonal and temporary employees.

A. 
Effective January 1, 2017, longevity payments will be eliminated.
B. 
For the year 2016, employees shall receive 10% of annual salary as longevity, but such payment will be rolled into base salary retroactive to the later of:
(1) 
The employee's hire date, but only if the employee was hired during the year 2016; or
(2) 
January 1, 2016.
