A. 
Plenary retail distribution (package) sale hours. No plenary retail distribution licensee shall allow, permit or suffer the sale, service or delivery of any alcoholic beverage or the removal of any alcoholic beverage from the licensed premises before 9:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m. on any day of the week.
B. 
Plenary retail consumption sale hours.
(1) 
No plenary retail consumption licensee shall serve, deliver or allow, permit or suffer the sale, service or delivery of any alcoholic beverage between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on weekdays and the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Sundays or permit the consumption of any alcoholic beverage upon the licensed premises between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on weekdays and the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Sundays.
(2) 
Any alcoholic beverage licensee who is permitted to sell alcoholic beverages for consumption on the licensed premises by the glass or other open receptacle may sell service, or deliver wine and malt alcoholic beverages in original containers for consumption off the premises during the days and hours as the licensee is permitted to sell alcoholic beverages for consumption on the licensed premises.
(3) 
During the hours that the consumption of alcoholic beverages upon the licensed premises is prohibited by this section, the entire licensed premises shall be closed, but this closing of premises requirement shall not apply to clubs or to restaurants as defined in N.J.S.A. 33:1-1 et seq.
