As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
TRAILER, TRAILER COACH or CAMP CAR
Any unit designed to be used for living, sleeping or business purposes by one or more persons, which is equipped with wheels designed to be used for transporting the unit from place to place whether it be self-propelled or otherwise.
A. 
No person shall locate, park, keep or maintain any trailer upon any lot or land within the Township except upon a trailer court, conducted, maintained and licensed in compliance with Township regulations.[1]

B. 
No person owning any lot of land in the Township shall permit any trailer to be located, kept or maintained thereon unless the lot shall be located in a trailer court, conducted, maintained and licensed in accordance with Township regulations.
No person owning or operating any trailer shall remove the wheels or cause them to be removed from the trailer or otherwise affix it to the ground in such a manner as would prevent the ready removal of the trailer.
A. 
Individual trailer or trailers used for storage of material for construction or for a construction office may be located in the Township as long as it is located on the construction site. The annual license fee for individual trailer will be $300 per year. A temporary license for any period less than a year shall be prorated on a monthly basis of $25 per month. Said individual and temporary permits shall be issued by the Township Building Inspector without the approval of the Township Committee.
B. 
A trailer may be used for occupancy and/or storage purposes on a residential lot for construction purposes or as a result of substantial fire destruction or other destruction to residential premises, on a temporary basis. If and in the event of an emergency condition, as a result of fire or other destruction to a residential premises, the Township Construction Official may issue an initial approval not to exceed six months for the placement of a trailer on the residential premises. Said initial approval by the Construction Official may only be extended by resolution of the Township Committee based upon construction or restoration progress by the property owner. If not extended by the Township Committee, the trailer shall be removed from the property.
