A.
MULTIFAMILY STRUCTURE
For the purposes of this section, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
A building containing two or more dwelling units designed
for or used exclusively for residential purposes, including townhouses.
B.
Applicability of section. The provisions of this section
shall apply to all multifamily structures for which building permits
have not been obtained prior to October 1, 1990.
C.
Applicability of Building Code. The current edition
of the Building Officials and Code Administrators (BOCA) Building
Code shall apply to all multifamily structures.
D.
Inspections. The Town department designated by the
Town Manager shall be responsible to perform such inspections as may
be deemed necessary and appropriate to ensure compliance with the
provisions of this section.
E.
Violations. Any person who violates the provisions
of this section will be guilty of a municipal infraction, subject
to a fine of $400.

Code shall apply to all commercial structures.
D.
