The part-time position of Borough Prosecutor
is hereby created.
The Borough Prosecutor shall attend sessions
of the Municipal Court of the Borough of Haledon and shall prosecute
all matters before the Municipal Court except those required by the
Rules of Court or otherwise to be prosecuted by a representative of
the office of the County Prosecutor.

The salary of the Borough Prosecutor shall be
as provided, from time to time, in the annual salary ordinance.
The Borough Prosecutor shall be appointed by
the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council; and he shall
serve for a term of one year and until his successor shall have been
appointed and qualified.
