The office of Assistant Water Plant Operator
is hereby created for the Borough of Haledon's water supply system.
The duties of the Assistant Water Plant Operator
shall be to perform all the duties necessary to operate the Borough
of Haledon water plant, perform all the duties of water plant operations
and assist the Chief Water Plant Operator in his duties. Hours worked
will be as scheduled by the Chief Water Plant Operator and the Superintendent
of the Department of Public Works.
The salary of the Assistant Water Plant Operator
shall be as provided by the annual salary ordinance.
The Assistant Water Plant Operator shall be
appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council,
and shall serve a term of one year or until a successor shall be appointed
and qualified. Said term shall commence on January 1 of each year
and expire December 31 of that year.
