There is hereby created the office of Safe Streets Coordinator of the Borough of Haledon.
The Safe Streets Coordinator shall be a member of the Police Department of the Borough of Haledon.
The Safe Streets Coordinator performs such duties as required by statute to report to the Mayor and Council.
The term of the Safe Streets Coordinator shall be fixed at one year from the date of appointment, and appointment shall be made by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council. The salary of the Safe Streets Coordinator shall be as fixed, from time to time, by the annual salary ordinance.
