Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:27D-126, the office
of Fire Subcode Official is hereby created.
The Fire Subcode Official shall perform all
duties as provided pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:27D-119, known as the "State
Uniform Construction Code Act."
The term of the Fire Subcode Official shall
be fixed at four years from the date of appointment, and the appointment
shall be made by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council.
The salary of the Fire Subcode Official shall be as fixed, from time
to time, by the annual salary ordinance.
