No person shall be permitted to be present in, loiter or make or create unnecessary or unusual noises on any school grounds, including lawns, buildings, playground areas or parking areas forming a part of or used in connection with any school, in the Township of Hanover, from dusk until dawn, unless such activity is part of a meeting or event scheduled and specifically authorized by the Board of Education of Hanover Township.
This chapter shall be enforced by the Police Department; except, however, the provisions of this chapter shall also be enforced by other Township officials appointed and empowered by the Township Committee to serve as Class One special law enforcement officers as specified in Chapter 53, Police Department, under § 53-25 of the Code of the Township of Hanover.
Any person convicted of violating the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000 for each offense or to imprisonment in the county jail for 90 days, or both, such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Judge.
