The position of computer support Manager/Technician
is hereby established.
Appointment to the position of Computer Support
Manager/Technician will be made by the Township Administrator with
the consent of the Township Committee.
The Computer Support Manager/Technician shall
perform such duties as may be assigned by the Township Administrator
and the Chief of Police, and in addition thereto:
A.Â
Perform all duties of confidential computer support
for Administration and Police Department.
(1)Â
Work with the Township departments and the Police
Department in maintaining, troubleshooting, installing, configuring
of hardware and software, including current computer system, network
and individual work station computer systems including network database.
(2)Â
Perform moves, adds, changes and updates to hardware/software.
(3)Â
Support data and voice dedicated lines.
(4)Â
Support security system.
(5)Â
Perform related tasks as required.
The Computer Support Manager/Technician shall
receive such compensation as is limited by the Salary Ordinance and
set by resolution, as both may be amended from time to time.
The Township Administrator or the Township Committee may remove the Computer Support Manager/Technician pursuant to the provision of Chapter 89 of the Township Municipal Code entitled "Personnel Policies" and in accordance with New Jersey Law.
