Township of Hillsborough, NJ Chapter 269 Tax Bills, Duplicate

§ 269-1 Fees imposed.

In accordance with the applicable provisions of N.J.A.C. 5:33-4.8, the Tax Collector of the Township of Hillsborough is hereby authorized to charge the following fees for the preparation of duplicate tax bills:

A. Five dollars for a first duplicate copy.

B. Twenty-five dollars for each additional duplicate copy which may be requested in the same tax year.

§ 269-2 Assessment of fees; request in writing.

The above set forth fees may, at the discretion of the Tax Collector, be assessed to a mortgagee, servicing organization or property tax processing organization, as such terms are defined in N.J.A.C. 5:33. Such requests for the preparation of duplicate tax bills shall be made in writing by the aforementioned entities to the Tax Collector.
