Township of Independence, NJ Chapter 85 Road Names

[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee of the Township of Independence 6-10-1974 (Ch. 48 of the 1984 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]

§ 85-1 Official map adopted. [1]

The map entitled "Official Road Map of Independence Township," Warren County, New Jersey, is hereby adopted as the official road map of Independence Township for the purpose of designating the official names of all Township roads within the corporate limits of Independence Township.[2]

§ 85-2 Names of roads established.

The names of all Township roads as they appear on said map are hereby designated, established and confirmed as the official Township names of said roads.

§ 85-3 Statutory authority.

This chapter is enacted pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:67-1 et seq.
