There is hereby created the position of Principal Assessing Clerk for the Township of Little Egg Harbor.
A. 
Under direction, the Principal Assessing Clerk shall perform highly responsible and varied clerical work involved in the assessment of real and personal property requiring knowledge of relevant rules and regulations and the frequent exercise of independent judgment and/or has charge of a small assessing clerical unit. The Principal Assessing Clerk shall also perform other related work as required.
B. 
To be appointed to the position of Principal Assessing Clerk, an individual shall possess the following:
(1) 
Two years of experience in clerical work.
(2) 
A driver's license valid in New Jersey, only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
