Township of Little Egg Harbor, NJ Article XL Electrical Subcode Official (Part-Time)

§ 86-102 Position created.

There is hereby created the position of part-time Electrical Subcode Official of the Township of Little Egg Harbor.

§ 86-103 Duties; qualifications.

A. Under the direction of the Construction Official, the Electrical Subcode Official has the subordinate administrative responsibility for administering the electrical subcode of the State Uniform Construction Code within the concerned jurisdiction, and to inspect and/or supervise the inspection of electrical work in construction projects underway to ensure that compliance with plans and specifications approved in accordance with the State Uniform Construction Code is achieved. The Electrical Subcode Official shall also perform other related work as required.

B. To be appointed to the position of Electrical Subcode Official, an individual shall possess the following:

(1) A valid license as an electrical subcode official issued by the Code Enforcement License Office, Division of Housing and Urban Renewal, Department of Community Affairs.

(2) A driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

§ 86-104 Hours.

The Electrical Subcode Official shall work a maximum of 19 hours per week.
